Eiken Grade pre-1 interview passing ratio is considered exceeding 70%.(no official information is available)
One of the most common reasons for failing the speaking test is going silent.
It’s important to speak clearly and loudly.
If you don’t understand a question, you can say: “Pardon?” or “Please say again.”
*But try not to ask more than once per question.

If you can’t respond right away, say “Let’s see...” or “Well...” to buy some time.

Remember: Mistakes don’t subtract points. The more you speak, the more points you can earn!
